PRESCHOOL OPENINGS!
Are you thinking about enrolling your child in preschool for
next fall? The Center School in Northwood is accepting
registrations for the 2016-2017 school year. The Center School
is a parent cooperative preschool located next to the town hall
in Northwood, which provides an emergent developmental program
for three, four, and five year-olds of Northwood and surrounding
towns. There are openings in our two-day (T/Th) program and
three-day (M/W/F) morning programs. Call or email us soon to get

Northwood Police Take Winter Dip For
Special Olympics
Officers from the Northwood Police
Department participated in the annual “Winni Dip”, an event of
the Law Enforcement for Special Olympics program. A team of 6
officers from Northwood took the plunge into the icy waters of
Lake Winnipesaukee last week raising over $2,220. for Special

CBNA Freshman Wins Statewide Writing
Contest
Coe-Brown Northwood Academy is pleased to announce that
freshman Ian Gollihur has won first place in the One Pen Can
Change the World writing contest which allows New Hampshire
students the opportunity to submit essays about their ideas
about justice. His moving essay titled American Hypocrisy placed
first of all student essays submitted by students from
throughout New Hampshire. This contest is sponsored annually by
the National Writing Project in New Hampshire (NWPNH) which is
based at Plymouth State University. Mr. Gollihur will be honored
at a celebration which will be held on Thursday, April 7 at the
Plymouth State University College of Graduate Studies.
