annual Fall Mum Sale fundraiser!

will also be selling fall decorative items like hay bales and
corn stalks.

across Route #4 from the Irving Station in Northwood on

There will be an informal meeting on Wednesday, August 19, at
7:00 pm at the Northwood Community Center, 135 Main St.,
Northwood Narrows to share information about her record and
where she stands on the issues. Mike Ollen, Deputy Political
Director HFA, and Sara Clark, Organizer for Northwood HFA will
be present from the campaign.
The
meeting is open to all interested voters. Light refreshments

Comedy Hypnosis Comes To CBNA
Steve Wronker Comedy Hypnosis
Steve Wronker’s Funny Business, a comedy hypnosis extravaganza,
will arrive at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy on Friday, September
11, 2015, at 7 pm in the Gerrish Gym on the CBNA campus.
Steve Wronker is a unique entertainer with a unique slant on the
most hilarious, the most outrageous, and the funniest form of
comedy available in today’s entertainment market, and the SWFB
comedy hypnosis show is extremely different from any other
hypnosis show available. Audience members become the stars of
the show.
A
true entertainer, Steve puts audience volunteers into his show
and orchestrates a program of absolute hilarity! With over 300
family friendly routines to choose from, no two shows are alike!
The
show is being sponsored by CBNA Theatre and is a CBNA Homecoming
weekend event. Tickets are $10 general admission and will be
available at the door on the night of the show. Prepare to be

CBNA To Hold Third Annual Homecoming Weekend September
11 & 12
Coe-Brown Northwood Academy is pleased to announce that our
Third Annual Homecoming weekend will be celebrated on Friday and
Saturday, September 11 and 12, 2015.
The
weekend will kick off with “Red and White” day for students on
Friday, followed by a family friendly Comedy Hypnosis Show by
Steve Wronker’s Funny Business at 7 pm ($10) in the Gerrish
Gym.
A
full day of fantastic family activities is planned across the
campus for Saturday the 12th including athletic events: Bass
Fishing at 8 am, Cross Country vs. Portsmouth at 9 am, Girls
JV/V Soccer vs. Portsmouth at noon, Boys JV/V Soccer vs.
Portsmouth at 2 pm and Girls R/JV/V Volleyball vs. Oyster
River.at 2:30, 3:45, and 5. To get the day started, FCCLA will
cooking a Pancake Breakfast in the Dining Hall from 8 am to 10
am. Tickets for the breakfast are $8 at the door, or contact

A
new event this year is a Homecoming Car Show from 10 am to 2 pm
sponsored by the Class of 2016 (contact Mrs. Morales for
registration information for this event as well). The Northwood
Fire Department will be on hand for a Touch-A-Truck event from
10 to 2. In addition, there will be booths and carnival games
sponsored by many of CBNA’s classes and school organizations
including FFA Alpaca Bingo, an FFA Woodman’s demo, a FCCLA
raffle booth and a demo by Quest Martial Arts. There will also
be many yummy concessions offered throughout the day.
Homecoming will culminate with a black and white semi-formal
dance sponsored by the senior class for current students from 7
– 10 pm ($7).

Become A Northwood “Video Volunteer” For
Lakes Region Public Access TV!
Help Lakes Region Public Access (LRPA) TV to cover events in
your home town of Northwood. LRPA is looking for “Video
Volunteers” to shoot events such as the Bean Hole Bash and all
the other great things that go on in Northwood. Volunteers are
the heart and soul of LRPA! You will get recognition on our

you have experience using a video camera (even if you haven’t
used one in a while) and can pick up and carry 50 lbs., you can
be a vital part of LRPA’s crew. We will train you on everything
