The
Inn at Deerfield, a nonprofit home specializing in dementia
care, is hosting a Flu Clinic on Thursday, September 24 from 2
to 4 PM.
The
Concord Regional VNA will be providing flu shots for ages 3 and
over. The cost is $30, cash or check. However, if you have
insurance through a Medicare Advantage Plan, Medicare Part B,
Medicaid, Harvard Pilgrim or Anthem (prefix of NHN, NHP, YGG,
EHH or Federal), your insurance will be billed for the
immunization. You must have your insurance ID card with you at
the clinic.
The
Inn is located at 34 Ridge Road in Deerfield. Appointments for
the flu shot are encouraged, but drop-ins will be welcome as

Terrence and Annette Blake of Northwood, NH, are proud to
announce daughter, Margaret Blake, Coe-Brown class 2011, was
graduated in May 2015 from Purdue University in West Lafayette,
Indiana with a B.S. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences
with a minor in dance.
Margaret enjoyed performing as a four year member of Purdue’s
Contemporary Dance Company.
Miss Blake is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Speech
Pathology at James Madison University, in Harrisonburg
Virginia, Class of 2017.
It’s Library Card Sign-Up Month!
The
Chesley Memorial Library will host an Open House on Saturday,
September 19, from 10:00-1:00 p.m. We will be thanking our
volunteer library gardeners present (Meg McGoldrick) and past
(Pat Savage) so please plan to join us and enjoy some light
refreshments while you are here.
If
it’s your first visit, sign up for a new library card…and help
us win the Granite State Library Card Challenge for adding the
most new library cards in the month of September!
September is also the month to replace lost library cards free
of charge so make sure to visit if you need a replacement card.

Northwood Advent Christian Church Potluck Dinner
The
Northwood Advent Christian Church invites you to join us for a
potluck dinner and music night to celebrate National Back to
Church Sunday on September 20.
The
church is located at 113 School St. (Rt. 107) in the Narrows.
The dinner will start at 4:00 and beverages will be provided,
you are welcome to bring a dish to share. This good time of
food and fellowship will be followed with a great time of
music. All activities will be outdoors, weather permitting.
If
you have not been to church for years or have never been we
invite you to come and see that here is a place of community,
caring and friendship, where faith and reality meet. Real people
on the road of life sharing the “Bread Of Life”. We don’t have
all the answers but we know One who does.
The
church has been a part of the Northwood community since the mid
1800’s. This is an invitation for you, our neighbors to come
and check and see what God is doing. We are happy to invite you
back to church.
