Preschool Openings!

Now is the time to think about enrolling your child in preschool! The Center School In Northwood is accepting registrations for the 2010-2011 school year. The Center School is a parent cooperative preschool located next to the Town Hall in Northwood, which provides a developmental program for three, four, and five year-olds of Northwood and surrounding towns. There are openings in our two-day  (T/Th) program and three-day (M/W/F) morning programs. Call us soon and come to visit! For information, please call director Karen Andersen at the school at 942-7686.

Recycle Your Town Reports

If you have a 2009 town report that you are finished reading, please consider recycling the report. This will reduce the number of reports that will be printed this year which will save printing costs.

A box is set up at the town hall for recycling the reports. After the initial order has been received for town and school meeting, a second order will only be placed if needed for the requests for the remainder of the year, based on the number of reports that are recycled.

The annual report is soon to be appearing on the town web site, so if you would like to review information later in the year, you may view it on the web site.

The popular A Cappella group, “Not Too Sharp”, composed of University of New Hampshire students, will appear in concert at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy on Saturday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in the Gerrish Gym.  Featured in the group are two Coe-Brown alumni, Christopher Chagnon, class of 2007 and Brendon McCann, class of 2008.

Chris often takes the lead solo line and Brendon is known for his mellow bass sound.
“Not Too Sharp” performs many of its own arrangements. Their repertoire includes “Dancin’ in the Streets,” “Solisbury Hill,”  “Obladi Obladah,” “Dancin’ in the Moonlight,” and many others.
