To The Friends Of Brookside School:
The Northwood Advent Christian Church would like to update you on the Brookside School.

With your help, several years ago we were able to shingle the school and do some repair work necessary to maintain the integrity of the building.

We realized how blessed we were to have such a caring community that responded with generosity in both their time and resources.

At the time we asked for your help in meeting this need we had been working with the Northwood School District and had discussed their being able to use the school for some program needs. All of this was contingent on their securing grant money that unfortunately did not win funding.

We share your disappointment as did the school district.

We also believe that Brookside School holds a rich community heritage and our church will do all we can to seek out any uses to enhance the appropriate use of space that will enhance that heritage...

We wish to thank you all for your time, efforts, and resources. We want you to know that they were not ignored nor in vain.

It is our commitment and belief that an opportunity will present itself and when it does please know that it is because of your commitment and assistance Brookside will be available.

Although we have neither solid plans nor resources available at this time to immediately use the school we will continue to explore all possibilities to keep the school and active part of our community in meeting the needs of our youth.

Please be assured until that time we will do all we can to maintain the building and protect the investment you all have put into the building and its place as part of Northwood’s history.

Since vandalism has been a problem at times we ask for the community’s help in reporting any such activity to the police for their immediate attention.

Thank you again for all your help and please do not hesitate to contact any of our Trustees if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you again and God Bless,
Chris Averill, Trustee
Northwood Advent Christian Church

The entire Ring Family would like to thank all the people able to show all their support for an appreciation to Jim on Saturday, February 13th.

We also wish to thank all the generous support bidding at the auction and raffles. The items for the auction and raffles were donated by too many businesses and people to list. We are afraid we might miss someone.

We also wish to thank all the people who helped organize, publicize and run the evening, especially the Northwood Crankpullers Snowmobile Club and the Northwood School and PTA.

We would be remiss to not thank Big John and the Twins for providing fabulous music and the microphone for the auction and raffle at no cost.

Thank you to Northwood, the surrounding towns, organizations and friends of Jim.

The Family of Jim Ring
