Obituaries
Jeremy
Scott Plourde
Gilmanton- Jeremy Scott Plourde, 42 passed away
peacefully at home in his wife’s arms following a long battle with
cancer on Thursday May 11, 2017. Born October 10, 1974 in Laconia,
NH.
He was a lifelong resident of Gilmanton, NH. Attending
Gilmanton school, and graduating Gilford high school in 1993.
Jeremy was employed at Hannaford for over 25 years holding many
positions at several stores, but most recently as the Produce
Manager at the Meredith NH store.
All who knew Jeremy enjoyed his
sense of humor and kind heart. The joy he brought to all will be
greatly missed.
Jeremy is survived by his wife of 20 years, but
partners for many more, Rebecca “Becky” Plourde, sons Jordon 22,
Parker 19, Griffin 14 and Cooper 6. He lived and cared for his
family till the end.
Jeremy enjoyed family time most. The family
was often found on the slopes of Gunstock, ripping it up. Jeremy
loved riding his motorcycle and fixing up his many great finds which
included boats, bicycles and other free or nearly free treasures.
Above all else Jeremy always made sure that his wife Becky had no
wish left ungranted.
He learned to appreciate city living with
his son Jordon. Parker taught him that with a boo stick you could
grow up to be a brave man. Griffin showed him that you can tell a
good story with a lot of singing. With Cooper the steps with Lego
builds are just an option to get to the destination. His family
showed him that with fun and chaos comes great men.
He was the
son of Gary Plourde and the late Valerie Plourde, brother of Jason
Plourde and uncle to Zachary Plourde. Jeremy was a brother in law to
Norma & Kasey Kortz and uncle to Kaeden Kortz.
Jeremy was
predeceased by his grandfathers Robert Begin and Alphonse Plourde
and his “moms” Valerie Plourde and Becky’s mother Judith Bordeau
