Gilmanton Food Pantry And Thrift Shop News And Events
The Gilmanton Food Pantry extends a hearty thank you to everyone who
stopped at our annual yard sale on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Despite
the rain, we had a very successful day and hope to see everyone
again next year. Everyone benefits at our yard sales because
patrons find something special for themselves and the proceeds go to
the Food Pantry which in turn helps those in need within the
community.
We are still collecting school supplies which include: back packs,
(K-High School), scientific calculators, jumbo glue sticks, graph
paper, index cards, colored pencils, 1 & 3 subject notebooks, book
covers, #2 pencils, crayons, 1” binders, rulers, fine point Dry Ease
and fine & broad tip washable markers, etc. For more information
contact Beth Lavin at 267-1934.
The Thrift Shop will be featuring a $5.00 bag sale during the month
of August. Be sure to stop in and fill a bag for only $5.00.

News From
Harvest Bible Church
A blessed time was had by all those in attendance at Harvest Bible
Church on Sunday, July 19th as we witnessed the ordination service
for Pastor Nate Pickowicz.
Ves Sheely, district superintendent for the Northeast Free Church,
gave the message for Pastor Nate’s charge. The newly appointed
elders of the church, Ken Marvin, Matt Howe and Terry Melle came
forward as well to join in prayer for Pastor Nate. A great time of
food, fellowship, and rejoicing was enjoyed after the service.
Pastor Nate is currently preaching from the book of John and giving
a greater understanding of the life and purpose of our savior, Jesus
Christ. If you would like to join us in worship we meet at the
Gilmanton Community Church, 1803 NH Route 140, Gilmanton Iron Works.
The service starts at 9am.
You can find us on facebook or go to our website
www.harvestbiblegilmanton.org to learn
more about us or to listen to a sermon. If you are enjoying the
festivities at the Gilmanton Old Home day celebration please be sure
to look for us as we will have a booth set up there.
