Nault, Jillian Barton, Josie Taylor, Haleigh Patch, Drouin Brulotte

difficult task was made much easier with so many helping hands and
now our facility is much more attractive and inviting. Good Job!
Thank You very much!
Gilmanton Food Pantry And
Thrift Shop Happenings & Events
Shelves at the Gilmanton Food Pantry are well stocked due in part to
the generosity of the community by participating in the U.S. Postal
Service annual food drive to “Stamp Out Hunger.” A whopping 355
pounds of food was collected on May 9th in Gilmanton alone. Thank
you everyone who put out food for the letter carriers to pick up
In June the Thrift Shop will be featuring a one half price sale for
all men’s clothing in celebration of Father’s Day. Do stop by and
find something for Dad!
We will again, this year, be holding our annual Yard Sale on July
18th from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. This is a big fundraising event for the
Food Pantry and we are now collecting items for the Sale. If you
have gently used items in good condition and/or working order,
please consider donating to the Food Pantry. If you have large
items, please call ahead to make arrangements as our storage space
is limited. You can bring small items to the Food Pantry during
open hours, or you can call Beth Lavin at 267-1934 to make
arrangements for large items. Please, no electronics, media
including tapes, CD’s and books, or mattresses.
Volunteers are still needed. If you or anyone you know has an
interest in donating two hours a week or a couple of times a month,
please contact Barbara Reed at 556-9449. Helping hands are a
blessing for a worthwhile cause. We would love to have you and you
do not need to be a resident of Gilmanton to volunteer.

Lower Gilmanton’s First Baptist Church’s Annual Work Bee
The Lower Gilmanton First Baptist Church is having their Annual Work

the weather, general outside and inside work are the projects being
considered. If you would like to help maintain this special
landmark, which is on the National Historic Register, you are more
than welcome to help out.
Please wear your work clothes and bring your tool box. Many hands
will make light work. Also bring a favorite dish to share at lunch
