Gilmanton Police Donation

Gilmanton Quilt_1.jpg

The Gilmanton Police Relief Association has received a handmade 84x84 quilt made by Animal Control Officer Victoria Carroll-Parkhill. The quilt is to be donated to the family who lost their barn and home in March 2014 due to a tragic fire. The Gilmanton Police Relief Association also made a monetary donation to help the family during these hard times.

Gilmanton Police Relief Association President Sgt. Matt Currier said, “It’s terrible this family lost their home. It’s nice to be able help even if it’s something small.” The Gilmanton Police Relief Association was started in 2007 to help community members in need. It has also be used purchase lifesaving equipment which is not funded by the normal Police Department budget.   The Gilmanton Police Relief Association is always accepting donations. For more information on donating please call 267-7401.
