October Events and Activities at Gilmanton Year-Round
Library
The Gilmanton Year-Round Library continues to be a gathering place
for people of all interests and ages. The October
schedule includes:
Tuesdays, 1:30 pm. Gilmanton Crafters.
Thursdays, 6 - 8:30 pm. Magic The Gathering. All ages
and levels are welcome to play! Just bring a deck. No sign up is
required.
Fridays, 3-4 pm. Beyblading Tournaments - call for
details.
October 3, 3-5 pm Crafternoon with Miss Pam - Learn what you can
create with just a piece of paper!
October 8, 6 pm - Crafting for the Clumsy - this month we take on
Halloween crafts! Sign up required.
October 10, 3-5 pm, Lego Club returns - come create all sorts of
cool things at the GYRL!
October 15, 6-8 pm. Join us for our monthly Energy Share - all
methods and levels are welcome to practice here. Call for details!
October 22, 6 pm. Evening Story Time -
bring your dinner and your pjs for a night time library adventure!
October 24, 1:25 pm Early Release Movie - This month were
watching Epic! Popcorn for everyone!
October 25, 6 - 9:30 pm. Halloween Teen/Tween Night
join us for games, tales and a scary film! Sign up required. Call
for details!
October 26, Larry Frates presents a Magic Show (Old
Town Hall, 6:15 pm.) Fundraiser to keep the Library open. Tickets
available at the Library and at the door. Desserts, family fun,
raffle prizes. More information to come.
October 28. Monday movie matinee, 1:30 pm. Dessert provided.
October 29, 7 pm. Book Club - this months selection:
This Isnt the Story You Think It Is by Laura Munson. Copies
available at the library.

GCC Food Pantry And Thrift Shop News
There is a brand new sale starting at the GCC Thrift Shop. Through
Saturday, October 26th all items with red or yellow barbs will be
50% off. Please stop by and see all the nice clothing and
accessories available at the Thrift Shop and enjoy great finds at
half price.
We are constantly adding new items and welcome your donations
anytime during business hours.
Please remember that starting Monday, October 14 the Thrift Shop
will no longer be open on Mondays. New winter hours are: Wednesday
3 pm 7 pm and Saturday 10 am 2 pm.
We are always looking for more volunteers at the GCC Food Pantry &
Thrift Shop, especially on Saturdays. We truly would appreciate any
time you can offer, even if only a couple of hours. If
you would like to help out by volunteering, please stop by the shop
or call Jane Sisti @ 364-7437. We thank all of our current and past
volunteers for helping us out with this truly great mission.
Food donations are welcomed and can be left in one of the collection
boxes located at the Academy Building, the Gilmanton School, the
Year Round Library or brought to the pantry during business hours.

Works, 03837. The Food Pantry and Thrift Shop is located on Route
140 in Gilmanton Iron Works, across from the Iron Works Market and
parking is located in the Gilmanton Community Church parking lot.
