Sponsor And Exhibitor Steve Bedard Featured In Sessions
On Old House And Barn Repair
Steve Booth says, "The creation of a timber frame shed that is
raffled to a lucky winner is a favorite feature of the Old House and
Barn Expo."
Steve Bedard knows old houses the way some people know the Boston
Red Sox stats.
His thoughtful analysis and creative persistence have helped with
many key "saves" around New Hampshire. Recent projects include the
Gilmanton Year-Round Library, Colonial Wentworth House in
Rollinsford, the Castle in the Clouds in Moultonboro, and an 1810,
two-story, twin chimney house with a two story "ell," carriage shed,
and wood shed in Loudon. With more than 30 years of experience in
saving and restoring old homes and barns, Bedard is the principal of
Bedard Preservation and Restoration in Gilmanton and will be a
prominent exhibitor, lecturer, and sponsor at the Preservation
Alliance Old House and Barn Expo.
Phillip Eisesman of Gilmanton also to showcase custom cabinetry and
hand-made furniture.

stepping up and getting involved. Some of our ongoing volunteers may
remain in place but many more volunteers are still needed! So, if

surely appreciate it.

Letter
Gilmanton School SB2 Wins By A Majority
Thank you voters for your support of the SB2 school petition. The
final numbers are 533 yes votes and 300 no votes. I also want to
thank the letter writers for their voices on this important issue.
The last School District meeting will be held at 10:00 am at the
Gilmanton School on Saturday, March 24. Voting will take place on
the Warrant articles, a copy of the warrant articles can be found by
searching the "Gilmanton School District Meeting Website".
If the entire warrant article requests are accepted the school
budget will increase $259,144 over last year’s budget, an increase
of 2.6%. I question the need for these increases.
Please take the time to read the warrant articles and attend this
very important meeting. Your input and votes are very important;
it’s your tax dollars that fund these increases.
