The Eighth Grade Class of Gilmanton School will be hosting a Spaghetti
Dinner on Wednesday, March 24th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the school
cafeteria.
$6.00 for students in Grade 6 through adults, $5.00 for Senior Citizens
and students in Grades K-5. There is no charge for children under age 5.
The class has been working hard all year to raise funds for their class
trip to Montreal, Canada. They would appreciate your support in their
fundraising efforts.

Our display table is filled to the brim with Dr. Seuss books, videos,
handouts for coloring, a Dr. Seuss cake recipe, as well as directions to
make some of the insects from his books out of egg cartons. Mom can make you
the cake while you show your skill on putting together a caterpillar for
your own bookshelf.
Books and Music CDs Recently Donated to our Library: Bitterroot by James
Burke, Blood Sins by Kay Hooper, Ford County and The Associate by John
Grisham, Crowning Glory of Calla Lilly Ponder by Rebecca Wells, Under The
Dome by Stephen King and Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan. A big thanks to
our donor for this book collection.
Over a dozen music CDs were given to us and are ready for you to borrow.
Music varies from classical, light rock, Broadway musical The Phantom of the
Opera, and for our opera lovers, The Barber of Seville, Marriage of Figaro,
and Bartered Bride.
The volunteer staff is also sorting through over twenty donated boxes of
books that had been packed alphabetically by author and in tip-top
condition. We will keep you informed as soon as we have a list of the book
titles.
Our Museum passes for SEEScienceCenter, Currier Art Museum and NH
Historical Society continue to be very popular. Patrons have stepped up to
the plate again to renew and donate these passes for SEEScienceCenter,
Currier Art Museum and NH Historical Society!!
We also have been given an admit one lake cruise pass on Squam Lake and
an admit one to one trail admission only to the Squam Lakes Natural Science
Center. Both of these SLNSC passes will expire June 30, 2010. Another round
of applause and thank you to our patrons who have given these wonderful
educational passes.
