Wednesday, March 28 at
1:30 the Epsom Library will show the movie “Robot and Frank.”
Set in the near future, Frank Langella stars as a retired cat
burglar whose adult children feel he should no longer live alone.
His son gives him the gift of a talking humanoid robot that is
programmed to look after him. What follows is a heartwarming
and often hilarious story about finding friends and family in the
most unexpected places.

Lakes Region Art
Association At Epsom Library
The Epsom Public Library
is happy to announce a multi-media exhibit of work submitted by
several members of this thriving organization.
The Association was
founded in 1940 by five Lakes Region artists, whose goal was to
provide a supportive and educational forum for local artists, both
amateur and professional. Members explore the use of various
techniques, mediums and styles.
Throughout its long
history, the Association has sought to nurture the creation and
appreciation of the visual arts in the Lakes Region, and to promote
public exposure of the members’ work. Visitors to the Tanger Outlet
Mall in Tilton may have already discovered that the Association
maintains its own gallery there. We’re pleased to have a
representation of the members’ work at the library through April 21.
The exhibit may be viewed during regular library hours: Monday
through Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday 9 am to 1 pm. All
are cordially invited to meet the artists at a public reception
on Saturday, April, from 2 to 5 pm.

I want to thank all those
who came out during the snow storm to vote on our Blizzard Election
day! It was amazing to see how many people ventured out in
such terrible weather! Special thank you to Rick Belanger who
provided a tent and more importantly a heater! Rep. John Klose
and I got to visit for most of the day while taking turns shoveling
the walkways! I want to thank him for a nice congenial
campaign.
I am grateful for the
support of so many citizens and look forward to serving our
wonderful town! Thank you all who allowed my signs to be
placed on your property and I will try to retrieve them all as soon
as the snow melts!
So many people helped out
on election day, and I would like to thank our town officials and
employees who worked at the polls. During that day, one of
our residents put a call out on Facebook for a ride to the polls and
a wonderful resident took the time to respond to her call for
assistance! He drove out of his way to bring her to vote!
That is the kind of community spirit that makes Epsom such a
wonderful place to live!
Congratulations to all
who were on the ballot!
Thank you,
Virginia Drew
