Wednesday, January 10, the Epsom Library will be showing the film, “Wind River” at 1:30 PM.  This is a chilling thriller that follows a rookie FBI agent (Elizabeth Olsen) who teams up with a local game tracker with deep community  ties and a haunted past (Jeremy Renner) to investigate the murder of a local girl on a remote Native American Reservation in the hopes of solving her mysterious death. (IMDB)   This movie is rated R for language, disturbing images and strong violence.

Epsom Food Pantry

Hi, Everybody!  What a wonderful two weeks at the Food Pantry.  The citizens and friends to our Pantry have been so generous, not only with food, but money. It is difficult to keep it all straight and if I have missed anyone, please forgive me.

The family and friends of the late Bob Hahn have sent us money in remembering him. Thank you. Also, the following organizations and families have sent us money, Sugar River Bank, Epsom/Chichester Lions Club, Share Corporation, The Moultons, Choinard, Clarks, and the Rebekah Lodge, as well as, cash from unknowns. Amazing! We are forever grateful to you all.

As you know, we distributed Christmas Baskets from Capital Regional of Concord. The truck comes out to Epsom and goes first to Meadowbrook where Peter and his crew deliver to each and every apartment. The truck then comes to the Pantry where we have a whole group ready to unload.

What the families receive are two boxes, turkey, bread and apples or onions , if they want them.  We have to assist everyone as they are heavy boxes.

We are just so fortunate to be a part of that wonderful group. The day after Christmas, Armand went into the Armory and picked up what was left over. Wow.  Best of all, Ken came down and visited with the workers. The members were so excited and happy to see him.

Well, it has been a busy but good 2017. We look forward to serving our members in 2018. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Until next time,

Priscilla
