Epsom Food Pantry
Well, our Food Baskets
are ready, save for potatoes and turkeys. We have really been busy.
Between pickups and stocking shelves, we have been keeping everyone
busy, busy.
Now Liz and Alice went to
a meeting today, hosted by the Capital Region Food Program group,
regarding our Christmas boxes. The word from them is get going and
get you folks signed up. So, on your trip to the Pantry, be sure and
sign up. On November 18th, when you come to pick up your turkey and
goodies, Liz will be waiting to sign you up. We have a deadline to
meet, so do not forget if you want a box. Now they also told the
gals that if someone who is not a member of the Pantry has a NEED
right now, be sure and let me know (219-3025) and I will get you
signed up.
A special thanks to Nancy
and Phil Yeaton for their thoughtful contribution and also our
friend Pat Wilcox who remembered us. Thank you to the gentleman who
brought us some swell looking peppers.
Norm and I went to the
Concord Airport Saturday and picked up the generous donation of the
Boy Scouts. I am awed by the undertaking of leaders, boys, and their
Dads. Trucks lined up and they loaded them for us. We had at least
20 boxes filled with some great food.
Saturday Armand and JR go
to Hopkinton to pick up our Maine potatoes for our Thanksgiving
boxes. As you can see we are really busy and do we miss Ken.
Until next time,
Priscilla
