at Epsom Central School during school hours December 7 - December
11, with special family events on Wednesday, December 8 from 5:00 -
7:30 PM and Saturday, December 11 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Please
come browse our large selection of books, all which would be great
additions to your home library, your child’s classroom, or holiday
shopping.

Epsom Central School needs your help . .

The 8th grade class is fundraising for their annual trip to
Washington DC. We are looking for donations of empty aluminum
cans to recycle for cash. Aluminum cans can be dropped off at
the school in the collection trailer that is parked next to the
basketball court. We are hoping to fill the trailer by the end
of January.
Pancake Breakfast by the Concord/Epsom
Elks Lodge, on December 5, 2010 from 8:00-11:00 am. $5 per
person; children 5 and under, free. Proceeds to benefit
the Christmas baskets for seniors. A box for non-perishable
donations will be available. Help us help others.
Concord/Epsom Elks Club bake sale, Sunday, December 12th at 9:00 am
at Country Cookin Circle Restaurant, Epsom Circle. Proceeds to
benefit area Senior Santa Baskets.
Evergreen Lodge
#53, Ivy Green Lodge #36 and friends are offering digital photos
with Santa on Saturday, December 4th at the Epsom Public Library
from 10:30 am to 1 pm. There will be crafts for the children, cookie
decorating, refreshments and a Christmas tree raffle. Also, a movie
with Santa at 1pm. Plan to join the fun and help with local holiday
outreach!

The Epsom Library is having an Usborne Book Fair beginning Tuesday,
November 16th thru Monday, December 6th. Plan to visit the fair and
check out the great selection of children’s items for holiday gift
giving. All proceeds benefit children’s programs.
The
Epsom Public Library is having a “Food for Fines” collection.
Patrons with fines for late library materials may donate
non-perishable items for the Epsom Food Pantry and have their fines
reduced or eliminated. Everyone is welcome to donate! Bring items to
the library during our regular hours Mondays 10-7 and Saturdays 9-1.

The annual Craft Fair at the
First Congregational Church, 24 Main Street, Pittsfield, takes place
this coming Saturday, Dec. 4th, 9-2. Over a dozen local artisans
feature fine seasonal crafts of all types including knits,
decorative items, fresh greenery, gourmet selections and more.
The First Congregational Church, 24 Main St., Pittsfield is
pleased to present, “The Light Shines On,” a concert of Advent and
Christmas music, Saturday, December 11th, 7-9 pm. This special
concert will include a brass quintet, “The Inextinguishable
Brass,” from UNH, the church’s Chancel Choir along with the
JuBellation Handbell Choir. This free concert will surely add to
your holiday joy. Light refreshments will be served during a brief
intermission.
