April 22 Volunteer To Help With Roadside Clean-up
Now that this winter’s snow banks have receded, the trash has emerged. Won’t
you do your part and help Clean-up Epsom? The Epsom Conservation Commission
and the Litter Free New Hampshire Program appeals to you to adopt a section
of road, trail or waterway. Perhaps you are part of a group or organization
or a resident that is willing to help with this effort. Since 1990 the
Commission has encouraged folks to volunteer their time to clean up some
area or section of road or trail that is meaningful to them.
Trash Bags will be made available at the
Epsom
Central
School,
the Library and the Town Office April 15th-29th.
We encourage folks to get out there the week of Earth Day which is April
22nd. Our recycling center will be accepting roadside trash during that
week.
We have many miles of road. The commission thanks all those who get out
there every year and do their part. So won’t you help? Adopt a section of
road or area that is meaningful to you. Do it in honor of Spring, the
natural beauty of Epsom, Earth Day and the joy of seeing clean roadsides,
trails and public areas. Pick a time that works for you, your family or
friends.
Participants will receive Daffodil Bulbs for their participation if you
E-mail or mail in how you participated. Distribution of daffodils will be
the first week of October.
[email protected] or to
the Town of Epsom Conservation Commission PO Box 10 Epsom, 03234.
