and popular eating establishments. Our submission deadline is extended to

03-17-09. The two-member team was rated first in the State of NH for (sales
production/ closed transaction sides) among the region’s top award winners
for 2008.

Obituaries
Barbara A. Taber
Epsom - Barbara A. “Bobbie” (Barnes) Taber, 79, of Wing
Road, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Epsom Health Care Center.
Born in Oakfield, N.Y., on April 15, 1929, Barbara was the daughter of
James and E. Aldine (Gorham) Barnes. She had spent many years living in
Derry and had also spent time in Naples, Fla., before moving to Epsom.
Before her retirement, she had been the manager of Lumbertown in Derry.
Mrs. Taber was a member of the New Rye Church and the New Rye Ladies
Aid. In addition, she was a member of the Ransford Chapter of the Eastern
Star in Derry and the Daughters of the Nile. Mrs. Taber loved time with her
family and also enjoyed antiquing, knitting and quilting.
She was the widow of Ralph Taber, who died in 1998, and to whom she had
been married 50 years.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Darla Kern in 2007.
Mrs. Taber is survived by children, Deborah Colman of Hampton, Thomas
Taber of Tampa, Fla., Denise Keeler of Epsom and Tracy Taber of Meredith; 10
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Taber’s life will be held Saturday, March 28,
2009, at 11:30 a.m. at the New Rye Union Congregational Church in
Epsom.
Spring burial will be held in the New Rye Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bektash Shrine, 189 Pembroke Road,
Concord 03301; or the New Rye Union Congregational Church, New Rye Road,
Epsom 03234.
