at 10:30 a.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall, 1198 Short Falls Road in
Epsom.
Have your photo taken with Santa Claus. Enjoy crafts for
children. There will be a movie with Santa at 1:00 PM.

Reminder
Don’t forget the Craft Fair being held at the First
Congregational Church in Pittsfield this Saturday, the 5th of
December from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A wonderful variety of crafts,
handwork, Christmas greens and much, much more.
The Epsom Central School PTO will be hosting a Scholastic Book
Fair from December 1 - 5. If you are looking to buy Christmas gifts
for children in your family, to donate books to your child’s
classroom, or to add books to your own home library, you should
check out ECS’s huge selection of books this week. The book fair is
open during school hours Tuesday through Friday, as well as Tuesday
and Thursday evening from 5:00 - 7:30 and Saturday 10:00 - 1:30. For

Valley Artisans Artist of the Month
Valley Artisans is proud to have Ed Serino as the Artist for the
month of December.
This is Ed’s second full season with us. Along with making
fabulous glass art he also runs our web site at
www.valleyartisansnh.org.
Ed is a retired computer and electronics teacher in Northwood,
NH, and has had a love of glass and working with glass for years. He
has taken a few classes in fused glass and he fell in love with the
process. Now he creates plates, candle holders, vases and bowls. He
recycles wine and liquor bottles into cheese and cracker sets that
everyone loves.
He is also designing and combining plain glass
with Dichroic glass to make amazing earrings, pendants and necklaces
that reflect the light into a rainbow effect.
Ed will have one
of his glass pieces available for our Free Raffle which is held from
the first of the month to the last day of the month. With December
being a big holiday season, come into Valley Artisans for your
shopping needs and enter our Free Raffle to win one of Ed Serino’s
amazing art glass pieces.
Our hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 7 days
a week till December 27th which is our last day of business for this
season, then we will reopen in April of 2010. Our address is 10

Obituaries
Nathan S. Taylor
Nathan S. Taylor, 34, passed away Tuesday,
November 24, 2009, at his home on Goboro Road.
Nathan was born
in Manchester on January 10, 1975. He attended Pembroke Academy and
was a graduate of the 142nd Session of the New Hampshire Police
Academy.
Nathan began his career as a Police Officer in Loudon
and later joined the Bow Police Department in February 2008. He
proudly served as a Patrolman in both communities.
Nathan was a
compassionate, kind, loving, and generous man. His family and
friends were his life. He meticulously built his own home for his
wife Kristy and daughter Hailey. He deeply enjoyed spending quality
time with his wife and daughter. His time was also well spent with
friends and colleagues and working on his home. Nathan was known to
be a selfless man, always doing what he could to help others.
Nathan is survived by his wife Kristy (Schreiter) Taylor and his
5-year-old daughter, Hailey; mother, Carol Taylor of Rochester;
father, Chuck Hagopian of Florida; 2 sisters, Karyn Ferrelli of
Milton and Melinda Armani of Florida; brother, Michael Taylor of
Florida.
In his life he also leaves an uncle, Robert Portinari of
Manchester; six nieces, one nephew, and one cousin. He will also be
deeply missed by his wife’s family, Ernest, Ruth, and Glen Schreiter.
A Memorial service was held at the Bow High School Auditorium on
Monday, November 30. The Nathan S. Taylor Scholarship Fund has been
established to benefit his daughter Hailey. Donations can be made at
any Merrimack County Savings Bank branch or to the Bow Police
Department
