News
This has been a very busy
summer for the Summer Reading Program, with programs from messy
art(s) to theater and today’s wrap up. Starting at 5 p.m. this
afternoon when the mascot for the Fisher Cats will be kicking off
the finale, the movie “School House Rock” follows. Because of
its content, the movie is rated PG-13 and requires an adult to
accompany the kids. There will be puzzles and other activities
available for those who don’t watch the movie. A scavenger
hunt will then follow the movie. Food, in the form of pizza
and lemonade, will help ensure no one goes hungry. Last, but
not least, the final prizes will be awarded, including the ultimate
prizes from Frekey’s or Chuckster’s for those who have completed
their contract.
Knitters will be meeting
this afternoon at 3:30 at the library.
The Evening Book Club
will be meeting at 7 p.m. this evening.
The Memory Café will be
held at the Epsom Library at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 13th.
Library Trustees will be
meeting at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 13th. This is an open
meeting and residents or other interested parties are encouraged to
attend to express their opinion concerning the library.
Vendors interested in
participating in the September 8th Down Under Book Sale are reminded
to contact the library at 798-5613 or
[email protected] to
register. With no fee attached, this is a great opportunity for
vendors to display and sell their vegetables, crafts, baked goods,
syrup, candies, etc. Maximum space per vendor is 10’X10’
