Chichester Town Library News
Have you stopped in to
meet our new Library Director? Caroline Pynes has joined us
and is learning the ropes of the Chichester Library, but she’ll be
glad to meet you and learn a little about you. She’s already
planning something special for her interaction with the preschool
group! Welcome, Caroline!
Please have patience
through our time of transition. We expect some new programming
announcements will be coming soon.
The Knitting Circle will
be meeting this afternoon (Wednesday) at 3:30 p.m.
Preschool Story and Craft
Hour will meet tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
The Down Cellar Writers
group will be meeting on Monday, February 26th, at 7 p.m.
If you’re running low on
books to read, come in to browse the “New Book” section of the
library. And, don’t forget all the options available in the
Down Cellar Used Book Section. Even without the more formal
book sales, patrons are invited to peruse this section during the
time the library is open. Consideration, however, needs to be
extended to those who might be using the Community Room. You
can check the general schedule for the use of that room on our
Facebook site. Library hours are as follows: Monday and
Wednesday, 2:30 - 8:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-1:30
p.m.; Friday, 1:30-4:30 p.m.; and, Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 noon.
