The Chichester Food Pantry would like to say thank you to Chichester Grange for the much needed items.  For all who donated to the Food Pantry in December, may the Lord bless you and those you love with happiness and joy.

Happy Birthday to Allyson Brudniak on January 6.

Chichester Grange meets only once in January. That meeting will be January 16.

The Chichester Old Home Day Committee will meet on Thursday, January 10, at the Fire Station at 7 pm. New committee members are always welcome.

Chichester Library and Chichester Grange are cosponsoring a “Know Your Town” question and answer session on January 23 at 7 p.m. in the new meeting room at the Library. Representatives from the Chichester Town Office will be present to answer your questions about town government and other matters.

Bee Hole Beavers Snowmobile Club

Please note that the January meeting will be on January 9, 2013 due to the holidays. We will meet at the Chichester Community Building (downstairs in the Historical Society Area). The meeting will start at 7 pm. On the agenda will be trail maintenance still needing attention, pig roast planning, and fundraising ideas. You will be able to renew your membership at the meeting.

We need your help! The Club is actively looking for volunteers for this upcoming year. A secretary, membership chair and trail work volunteers are needed.

Information on local trail conditions, a trail map, Club news, items for sale, and how to become a member can be found on the website. Pay us a visit at

Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop News

Submitted By Carol Hendee

First, we wish all of you a safe, happy and healthy New Year! We’re gearing up to start again.  We can use your old jewelry, especially pins, which seem to be selling well.  We can also use some bigger bags as the little grocery bags fill up quickly.

We have two brand new bridesmaids gowns, size 12, from David’s Bridal. If you are interested, call me or stop by and I will arrange to bring them in. They are floor length and would take up too much room in the shop.

We also have leather jackets, men’s and women’s. Again, not all are out, so please contact me.

Please remember, if school is cancelled due to weather conditions, the shop will also be closed.

We are located on Route 28, Chichester and are open Mon. 8-12; Tues. and Thurs. 8-4; Wed. 11-4 and Sat. 10-4.  Our phone number is 247-7191.
