Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone! Thurs. the 26th is
1/2 price day; closed New Years Eve & New Years Day. Then we start
again - repurpose, recycle, whatever you call it, we provide all
kinds of stuff at affordable prices. We can use: pots, pans,
drinking glasses, skates & sleds. We also need for the store a
wagon to help us transport heavy bags, dishes, etc. Here is the
Jan. challenge- return your “ugly sweater.” We will hang them &
people can vote on the ugliest-the winner gets one item in the store

December 26, 2013-January 1, 2014
On Friday, the 27th, families are invited to enjoy a movie at the
Library at 6:30 p.m. Monsters’ University is a fun film and should
provide a good time for all and a chance to get out of the house and
Monday, December 30th, Lego enthusiasts of all ages are invited to
gather at the Library at 4 p.m. to build towering skyscrapers.
Participants will have enough Legos at the Library without bringing
The January raffle item is a package of comfort for the
winter--snuggle up by the fire and enjoy! It includes a brass
firewood holder, a package of microwave popcorn, homemade cocoa and
chocolate dipped stirring spoons, mugs and a dvd or cd.
Stop by the Library to purchase your ticket(s).
The Library will be closed on January 1st, New Year’s Day.
A heads-up to everyone for Saturday morning, January 18th when a
reception for the Photography Club exhibit “January Blooms” will be
held. The club will be displaying their work and select works of
Chichester amateur and/or professional photographs through February
at the Library.
Also on January 18th will also be a Book Sale, from 8 a.m. to 1
p.m., enabling everyone to replenish their book supply.
