Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop News
Submitted By Carol Hendee
These are busy times at the Attic. People have been asking for canes
and walkers. We could actually use a walker for customer support.
There were two awful fires in Belmont and Laconia. We were able to
provide a few clothes for one of the children, but we need more size
9 and 10 boy’s clothes.
Mother’s Day is May 13th. We have several cute mother and
grandmother mugs and assorted little items. Also, we have several
tea pots without covers. Drill a hole in the bottom for drainage and
Mom can have a unique planter; one of a kind!
There is a good supply of sneakers for everyone.
We’re at 345 Suncook Valley Highway, Chichester. We’re open Mon.
8-12, Tues. and Thurs. 8-4, Wed. 11-4 and Sat. 10-4. You can call us
at 247-7191.
Free Fishing Day In NH
NH Free Fishing Day is coming Saturday, June 2nd, so plan to get out
and cast a line with your family and friends on New Hampshire’s
lakes, rivers and streams. On Free Fishing Day, residents and
non-residents alike can fish any inland or salt water in NH without
a fishing license. All other fishing regulations must be followed
including season dates and bag limits. You still need a fishing
license and a special permit to fish for broad stock Atlantic salmon
in the Merrimack and lower Pemigewasset rivers.
Fishing day is the perfect chance to take a buddy fishing and enjoy
a fish fry. A great way to enjoy the outdoor life. NH has 12,000
miles of rivers and streams and more than 975 lakes and ponds, a
number of them stocked with trout.
Free Fishing Day kicks off 2012 National Fishing and Boating week, a
nationwide observance encouraging families to have fun together on
the water. Youth under 16 do not need a license to fish in NH.
If you get hooked on Free Fishing Day, why not enjoy the fun year
round. Licenses are available at the Chichester Town Clerk’s Office.
Chichester is also a boat agent and can register any boat in NH.

Chichester Heritage Commission
The Chichester Heritage Commission and its program partner, the

Hampshire Humanities Council to present "The Great Sheep Boom and
Its Enduring Legacy on the New Hampshire Landscape". This program

Steve Taylor, former NH Commissioner of Agriculture, will speak
about the 30 year period in the early 19th century when the NH

behind a legacy of fine architecture and thousands of miles of
rugged stonewalls.
This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be
provided after the program.
The New Hampshire Humanities Council nurtures the joy of learning
and inspires community engagement by bringing life-enhancing ideas
from the humanities to the people of New Hampshire. Learn more about
