The
town pantry is still accepting fresh vegetables from the Plant A Row
project. Support your local pantry by donating fruits and
veggies, which can be dropped off at the Town Office building during
regular business hours. We would like to thank those who
have donated in July.

Out Of
Your Attic Thrift Shop News
To the person that donated the vacuum
cleaner; Thank You! We can now vacuum without worrying that it
will catch on fire!
If anyone has some energy saving light bulbs,
we can use 4 for the shop; just include a note they are for The
Attic’s use.
Things are evolving at a hectic pace. Bonnie
and David are back from their trip to Idaho and super busy.
First order of business, empty the storage unit in Belmont, load a
big truck, and take all the donations of winter clothing to the Day
of Sharing in Lancaster. Then back to Laconia to fill and
distribute backpacks for all the kids so anxious to get back to
school. Bonnie checked out thrift shops while in Idaho, and we
still have the best prices anywhere!
Please visit us on
Route 28, near the Pittsfield town line Mon. 8-12, Tues. and Thurs.
8-4, Wed. 11-4 and Sat. 10-4. We are now closed on Fridays. Or
call 707-7577 for Bonnie or 247-7191 for Carol.
Coming
Soon To The Chichester Town Library: The Library Meeting
Room
Have you attended programs and activities at the library?
If so, you know that more space is often needed to accommodate these
programs while still meeting patron needs. Our immediate need is
to estimate the materials and projected cost of said materials
needed for the renovation of the basement area. We are looking
for a volunteer with building and contracting experience to do this
for the library.
Our ultimate goal is to create a basement
meeting room that will be available for programming, meeting and
other community activities.
If you have an interest in helping
with this project, please contact Lisa Prizio at the library at
798-5613.
