District One Congressional Candidate Pam Tucker, District 2 State Senate Candidate Bob Guida, And NH GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn To Address Belknap County Republican Committee

The Belknap County Republican Committee has announced that their next monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11 at 6:30 pm at the Top of the Town Restaurant, 88 Ladd Hill Rd in Belmont, NH.

This month, a candidate for Congress CD1, a candidate for State Senate District 2, and the Chairman of the New Hampshire State Republican Committee will be the Committee’s guest speakers.  Pam Tucker will share her reasons for running for the seat currently occupied by Republican US Congressman Frank Guinta, while Bob Guida will discuss his rationale for running for the seat being vacated by State Senator Jeanie Forrester, who is running for Governor. NH Republican Committee Chairman, Jennifer Horn, will discuss the goals and accomplishments of the NH Republican State Committee, provide an update from the recently held quarterly meeting of the Republican National Committee, and discuss the plans for the Republican Convention scheduled for July 18 in Cleveland.  All three speakers will also answer questions posed by attendees at the meeting.

With the bi-annual statewide elections looming in November, the Committee is continuing to work to identify Republican candidates to represent Belknap County in the State House and Senate.  In addition, the Committee is working to identify Belknap County candidates to represent the county as delegates to the bi-annual NH Republican Convention.   Also, the latest information about the presidential race will be discussed, and this year’s Cruise Committee will provide a planning update about the Friday, May 27, 2016 Belknap County GOP Cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Belknap County GOP meetings are open to ALL Republicans and like-minded Independents. Per their usual meeting format, if you’re interested in having dinner (at your option) and/or wish to socialize before the meeting, plan to arrive as early as 5:00 pm.

The Committee thanks its members for continuing to bring food pantry donations to the meetings, and again reminds them to bring a non-perishable food item to this month’s meeting.
