Changes for
Children’s Programs
Starting in
February the schedules for the Story Hour and Toddler Time programs at
the Oscar Foss Memorial Library will be changing. Both programs will be
held every week instead of the 6 week schedule we have been using since
September. Please disregard the scheduled “off” days on your calendars.
All other scheduled events will remain the same. Story Hour will still
be held on Wednesdays at 10am and Toddler Time on Tuesdays at 10:30am.
These programs are free and open to the public.
Valentines
for Veterans
The Oscar
Foss Memorial Library is collecting valentines for veterans and military
troops. Come in any time before Valentine’s Day and make a card (or
two!) for us to send to these brave soldiers. You can also drop off
cards for us to send if you prefer to make them at home. Thank you for
your support.

Barnstead Christian Church News
The men of
Center Barnstead Christian Church would like to invite the men of our
community to come and join us for breakfast on Jan. 31 at 7:30 to 8:30
am. It’s a great way to start your weekend having coffee and breakfast,
and making new friends. This is our Monthly Men’s Breakfast, which is
held the last Saturday of each month. No Cost, all you need is an
appetite and a desire to meet new people. Who knows you might even
enjoy it enough to join us every month as we eat and fellowship with

We are located next door to the Barnstead Town Hall. We are looking
forward to meeting you.
Also the
ladies of Center Barnstead Christian Church are having their monthly
Ladies Night Out and would like to invite the ladies of our community.
This months the theme is Movie Night. We will be watching a video of
a female Christian comedian and eating snacks together while we watch.
Come join us to relax, laugh, and enjoy. The time is 7 to 9 pm. And
will be held at the Center Barnstead Christian Church located next door

University Names Local Students To Honors Lists For Fall 2014 Semester
Bentley
University President, Gloria Cordes Larson, along with Dean of
Business, Roy (Chip) Wiggins, and Dean of Arts and Sciences, Daniel L.
Everett, recently announced the names of local residents who were
honored for their outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2014
semester.
The
following local residents were recognized:
* Matthew
Jeffers, a Freshman from Center Barnstead, was named to the President’s
List.
* Taylor
Martin, a Junior from Chichester, was named to the President’s List.
* Adam
Salach, a Freshman from Northwood, was named to the Dean’s List.
* Mackenzie
Segura-Cook, a Senior from Northwood, was named to the Dean’s List.
To be named
to the President’s List, a full-time student must have a grade point
average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.
To be named
to the Dean’s List, a full-time student must have a grade point average
of 3.3 or higher with no course grade below 2.0 during the term.
