Youth Sunday At Parade Congregational Church
At this
time of the year with graduations taking place everywhere and summer
youth activities in full swing, it seems only reasonable that we take
time to honor all the children of our families. On Sunday, June
26, 2011, The Congregational Church, located on the Parade in Barnstead
will enjoy a Sunday morning service dedicated to the youth of our area.
Families and all area youth are invited to join us at 9:00 a.m. on June
26, for this special service to honor children of all ages as well as
the refreshments afterward.
Barnstead Cub Scout Pack 43
Thank
you so much to all who joined Barnstead’s Pack 43 Cub Scouts this winter
in our awesome activities! We had a very successful Pancake Breakfast in
January, an incredibly fun Pinewood Derby – our 2nd year with our new
track. The scouts and families also wanted to say thank you for those
who came in support of our annual Chili/Chowder Cook-off in March – the
golden spoon awards were fantastic! The scouts were also able to
participate in the annual Fish-n-Run Derby that was held in New Durham-
we had some great fish and the Webelos got to camp out for the weekend
as well.
The
summer months are often slow for Pack 43; however, we had the Fisher
Cats overnight campout on the field in early June that was so much fun,
and we hope to follow this by a really cool evening of fun in July with
Water Bottle Rockets. We are also planning to have a yard sale at
the end of July please look out for the signs.
Our
recent ice cream social was a good time too. It gave us a chance to
unwind and introduce the fun of scouting to some potential new families.
In the event you would like more information on Barnstead’s Pack 43 Cub
Scouts, please visit our Facebook page or you can email

of your support – our can trailer continues to grow strong!
