NBBI Ladies’ Trio
The New
Brunswick Bible Institute Ladies’ Trio , “Spoken For”, will be
ministering in song and performance at the Center Barnstead Christian
Church on Wednesday, May 5th at 7:00 PM. The New Brunswick Bible
Institute is a nondenominational Bible school (located in Victoria
Corner, New Brunswick Canada) training young men and women in a thorough
and practical knowledge of the Word of God to meet the needs of
evangelical bodies in our area, at home and around the world. Traveling
with the group is Dr. Barry Beebe, president of NBBI. Dr. Beebe will be
showing a promotional video of the school and present a message from the
Word of God.
Come
and be encouraged in song by this Ladies’ group. A love offering will be
taken to support the ministry of NBBI. The Center Barnstead Christian
Church is located on Route 126, next to the Town Hall. For more
information contact the church at 269-8831.
Story Hour Program Ends
The
Story Hour Program at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library in Center
Barnstead has ended for this year. Once again Dawn McCartney,
coordinator of Story Hour, and all of the volunteers have provided a
great Wednesday morning to many, many little people in Barnstead. The
Staff and Trustees at the Library want to express our heartfelt thanks
to Dawn and all the volunteer parents and guardians who provided the
children with stories, crafts, snacks, and lots of visits to the Library
every week.
When we
start Story Hour again in the fall, we’ll be looking for new and
returning parents/guardians to take turns to assist the weekly program.
This all-volunteer program relies on people to read, prepare a craft and
bring a snack. So, we hope to see you all again soon. In the meantime,
watch for the sign-up dates, when school ends, for the Summer Reading
Program at the Library and watch the paper for events and information on
the theme “Make A Splash/Make Waves - Read!”
