Letter
To the Voters of Barnstead,
I wish to thank all of those, who showed confidence
in my ability to represent them in the State House
of Representatives for the next two years. In
addition, I pledge to represent All the citizens of
Barnstead, listening to your concerns and wrestling
with the issue of balancing needs and resources to
the benefit of a healthy and vibrant New Hampshire.
Again, I am committed to finding a way of making
Government a place, where all interests work
together to find practical solutions to real
problems, not just piling up programs and
regulations, that burden the taxpayer and continue
to erode personal freedom and individual
responsibility. I will seek to be available in
Barnstead for formal and informal events, seeking
your input to help me represent your interests, plus
I hope to communicate through the local press the
issues and actions of the House, which effect your
lives.
Thanks again for your Support.
Peter S. Bolster,
State Representative-elect, Belknap County, District
#5
Letter to the Editor:
The citizens of Barnstead are fortunate to have a
variety of well qualified individuals who are
willing to compete for elected office and the
numerous volunteer positions.
There is one citizen who stands out among these
groups – Bill Gosse. Bill Gosse is a classic small
business man. If he doesn’t show up for work his
income will reflect his absence.
He has been a selectman in the past. Today he serves
as Town Moderator and that office calls for him to
conduct town meetings and to be present for town,
state, and national elections. Voters see a friendly
face while he monitors the progress of our crucial
elections.
Bill Gosse is also actively involved in the major
effort to resolve the Fire Department issue – an
issue that seems to have no end.
When next you see Bill Gosse, say thanks for all he
continues to do for the Town of Barnstead.

North Barnstead Tornado Victims Won the
Thanksgiving Basket!
By Joyce Beairsto
The Congregational Church of North Barnstead (UCC)
Women’s Fellowship Fair on Nov.8th included a raffle
of an overflowing Thanksgiving basket with a
certificate for a turkey for Thanksgiving. The
drawing was on Sunday, Nov. 9th. The women were
delighted to be able to award this basket to a North
Barnstead family (Karen Sartori’s) who were among
many other families affected by this past summer’s
tornado.
Along with many seasonal goods, toys, a silent
auction; jewelry and baked goods sold like “hot
cakes.”
Barbara Moulton, new president of the Women’s
Fellowship, reported that the fair was a great
success.
