CCS Students Run for Recess
Chichester Central School recently held their first “Rams Run 4
Recess” event. Students raiseed funds and collected
sponsors for their participation. Students in K-2 grade
ran a mile in the event and students in grades 3-8 ran two
miles. Everyone enjoyed the running and the cheering on of
their classmates and friends. By reaching their schoolwide
goal, Principal Beaverstock ran in each race in a rainbow tutu
and at the end of the day classes were able to deliver a pie (in
the face) to their selected CCS staff member. Thank you to
the Chichester community for your generosity and support of CCS
students and this event. In all, the students raised over
$5,200 towards improvements to their playground.
Contributions to the fund can still be made by contacting the
school at 798-5651.
