Oscar Foss Memorial Library Appoint New Library Director
The
Trustees and staff at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library (OFML) wish
you all a very Happy New Year as we look forward to 2015. To start
the new year, the trustees are pleased to announce the appointment
of our new library director, Danielle Hinton, beginning this month.
Danielle grew up and currently lives in Barnstead and brings her
love of libraries, her love of the community, and some impressive
skills to the position. She has been registrar, IT consultant,
visual arts instructor, and more at the non-profit Concord Community
Music School. Ms. Hinton possesses strong customer service skills
as well as a creative and enthusiastic vision for the library.
The
trustees are confident that she will continue the mission of the
OFML which states, in part: “to provide open access to cultural,
intellectual, and informative resources... and to serve as a
welcoming and inclusive community meeting place.”
Be sure
to stop by the library to meet and welcome Danielle and to see all
that your library has to offer. There really is something for
everyone and there really is “something always happening” at the
library!
