Special Event At Harvest Bible Church
Do you
have a hard time understanding exactly what Christianity is or have
you tried to read your bible and just don’t understand it. Are you
searching for something better in your life? If so, then this
special event is for you. Evangelist Mark Allbee will be giving a
special presentation “Discover the Gospel” on March 12, 19 and 26th
at 12:30 pm at Harvest Bible Church. Mark grew up in Salem, NH and
has been working as a Missionary in Northern Thailand for the past 8
years. He spent his first 18 years drifting and confused by various
churches and the different doctrines they presented. In 1982 a
co-worker gave him a booklet that explained God’s plan of salvation
in simple, everyday terms. Mark became “born again” and is currently
working with local churches and youth groups to encourage and teach
them the importance of reasoning through the gospel, rather than
merely preaching it.
“Discover the Gospel” is a biblically based, non traditional
exploration of the Gospel. Can someone really “KNOW” God intimately
and enjoy His presence daily? Is the term “born again” merely a
religious metaphor or something people genuinely experience? How can
a person be certain they are going to Heaven when they die? These
are some of the topics that will be covered. The workshops are
designed to identify and differentiate between superficial
“Christianity” and true biblical Christianity.
“If you
are curious about God and Christianity, then this workshop is for
you. God has a plan and a purpose for everyone that will come to Him
and it is a good one. In 1 Corinthians 2:14 Paul writes, “The
natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because
they are spiritually discerned.” Please don’t be that natural
(unsaved) person. This presentation is free so if you have read this
article and are being “prompted” to come and hear Mark we look
forward to seeing you at this informative event. Harvest Bible
Church is located at 1803 NH Route 140 in Gilmanton Iron Works. Our
regular service starts at 9am and is open to all!
