Farewell Celebration For Claudette Gill
Claudette Gill welcomes GYRL patrons.
We are both happy and sad to announce that Claudette
Gill, Gilmanton Year-Round Librarian, will be retiring at the end of
the month. This is Claudette’s 2nd retirement, coming out of her
initial retirement to bring GYRL to the next level with all her hard
work. Without Claudette the library’s materials would not be
automated and the book and DVD collection would be much slimmer and
a lot less interesting!
Claudette brought over 24 years of library
experience, including 12 years as the Brookline library director.
She is an avid reader and started helping the library out as a
volunteer, we will miss her greatly!
On behalf of the patrons and members, the Gilmanton
Year-Round Library Association extends the best of wishes to
Claudette as she begins yet another phase in her life.
There will be a farewell celebration for Claudette
on Thursday, November 3rd at 6:30 pm. Please join us for good
company and light refreshments. Everyone welcome – we hope to see
you there.
