Book Sale At Gilmanton Year-Round Library
Submitted By Carolyn Baldwin
Phil Eisenman has donated
a pair of hand-crafted cherry
end
tables. Proceeds of a raffle will benefit
the Library.
On November 1st you can combine a visit to
the Gilmanton Year-Round Library and book
sale with a shopping spree at the Gilmanton
School’s annual holiday craft fair.
If you missed the Library open house in
August, take this opportunity to visit the
building. If you have already had a tour,
come and see what has been accomplished in
the last two months.
The opportunity to buy a chance to win the
pair of hand crafted end tables, donated by
Phil Eisenman is still open. Tickets will be
available until November 1st. Drawing will
take place at noon at the Gilmanton school
craft fair.
Book donations have been generous. The
library transition committee has sorted
contributions, saving many to be included in
the permanent collection. The remainder,
duplicates and books not considered
necessary for the collection, will be
available for sale on the morning of
November 1st from 9 until noon. All proceeds
will go toward completion of the library.
It’s not too late for book donations. Bring
your contributions along on the morning of
the book sale. They will be sorted, and
those not retained for the collection will
be set aside for a future sale.
