Pembroke Academy Alum Makes Generous Donation In Support Of Bicentennial

Money Will Be Used Toward The Creation Of An Athletic Hall Of Fame

Thanks to a generous gift from a Pembroke Academy (PA) alum, the Pembroke Academy Bicentennial Committee is off to a great start in creating a Pembroke Academy Athletic Hall of Fame, one of several culminating projects to celebrate the school’s 200th anniversary.

Peter Cofran, PA class of 1969, made a donation of $2,000 towards the effort after attending the school’s Bicentennial Kickoff Celebration in April where he became aware of the goal to create an Athletic Hall of Fame.  Acknowledging that athletics is of significant importance to him, Cofran wished to gift the donation to his alma mater in appreciation of the educational experience he was afforded while enrolled at the school.

“To receive such support from an alum was truly heartwarming, and certainly very much appreciated,” said PA Headmaster Paul Famulari.

With many other Pembroke Academy Bicentennial activities planned, the school would welcome additional volunteers.  Anyone interested in becoming involved should contact Headmaster Paul Famulari directly at 603-485-7881 or by email at [email protected].

Letter To The Editor

SURVEY SAYS

The Old Meeting House Revitalization Committee (OMHRC) would like to thank all of the Epsom Residents that participated in the survey concerning the use of the Old Meeting House. We are currently summarizing the results.

Our next step is to hold Listening Sessions to gather additional input. In July, we will be contacting those who indicated they would like to participate in the Listening Sessions with available dates and times.  Once the Listening Sessions have been completed, we will publish the results and provide them to the Epsom Board of Selectmen for additional action.

Again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the Epsom Residents for your time and input.
