Melissa Allen of Epsom
was recently named to Emmanuel College’s Dean’s List for the Fall
2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, Emmanuel students
must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit
semester.

students have been named to the Dean’s List at Saint Michael’s
College for the Fall 2017 semester.
Kaitlyn P. Roukey, a
Sophomore English & secondary education major who is the daughter of
Angela Roukey and David Roukey of Epsom and a graduate of Pembroke
Academy.
Andrew P. Goulet, a
Senior information systems major who is the son of David and Karen
Goulet of Epsom and a graduate of Pembroke Academy.

Movie matinee at the
Epsom Library on Wednesday, January 31 at 1:30 is “All Saints.”
The film is “based on the inspiring true story of
salesman-turned-pastor Michael Spurlock, the tiny church he was
ordered to shut down, and a group of refugees from Southeast Asia.
Together, they risked everything to plant seeds for a future that

Obituaries
Joann M. Joy
Joann M. Joy, 67 of
Epsom, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 after a period of
declining health.
Born on January 23, 1950,
she was the daughter of the late Howard and Cecile (Faucher) Fisher.
Joann was employed with
Globe Manufacturing as a stitcher for 21 years. She enjoyed a good
word search puzzle, playing computer games and time spent at the
beach. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family.
Besides her parents,
Joann was predeceased by a nephew, Michael Briggs.
She is survived by her
son Nicholas Tobias of Epsom, her sister Maryann Briggs and her
husband Leland of Epsom, grandchildren, Sierra and Alaina Tobias,
nieces, Sarah, Melissa and Tracie Briggs.
In keeping with her
wishes, there will be no services. Assisting the family with
