Epsom Food Pantry
Well, all is well at the
Food Pantry, except for our manager, Ken, still recovering from his
accident. Sorely missed by all.
The donations have been
coming in which has been a blessing. Not only food, but money, too.
I failed last week to mention a lovely lady who brought us a turkey
and a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Shortly after she left, a young
lady new to town came in and we were able to give her that dinner
for her and her family. She was so, so grateful. We have
received a donation from David and Dianne Bird who always remember
us at holiday time - thank you. Also, a donation from the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Thanks for remembering us.
We are now preparing for
our Christmas Baskets which is held on December 22nd at the Pantry.
Now the Folks at Meadowbrook just stay home and Peter and his crew
will deliver them right to the door. By the way, thanks to the
donors who gave us food for the children. We try and give this to
Epsom Central School for their wonderful backpack program.
Stay safe friends in this
busy time of the year. The highways are crazy.
Until next time,
Priscilla
Local Epsom dancer Samantha Ellsworth was among those cast in the
professional “The Nutcracker” production on Thanksgiving weekend at
Seifert Performing Arts Center.
