Epsom Food Pantry

Well, Santa is just around the corner.  Food Pantry, busy as usual.  This time of year folks buying for family never forget the Pantry, and the donations are coming right in.

The Suncook Valley Vet Clinic had their annual drive and brought loads of great food. The donations of money are also brisk.  I will have my list for next time.

Right now I want to remind all who signed up for Christmas Baskets not to forget, December 22nd from 10:00 AM till 12:00, come to the Pantry and pick up your basket. This is a very generous donation from Capital Regional and we are so appreciative of their effort to so many folks.

Well, this will be my last article until after the holiday.  From all the staff, Ken, Liz, Cheryl, Armand, and of course myself, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It has been our pleasure to serve our townspeople.

Until next time,

Priscilla

Letter

To Members of the Epsom Community,

During meetings this fall, the Epsom School Board has discussed the possibility of full-day kindergarten in the Epsom School District, and at its most recent meeting, the Board requested the formation of a working group to review the prospective implications – including cost, space, and educational benefit – as part of a feasibility study. We are seeking a limited number of participants from various constituencies to help with this task, including parents, business owners and other community members. Specifically, we are seeking individuals to help research the issues around full-day kindergarten and ultimately to bring a set of objective findings to the School Board.

If you are interested in participating, please call Epsom Central School (736-9331) by Friday, January 5, 2018. If you have any questions you are welcome to contact any member of the School Board, Superintendent David Ryan, or me.

Sincerely,

Patrick Connors

Principal
