The Epsom Friends of the Library will be doing their Election Day
Bake Sale on November 8th at the Epsom Central School gym! As
always we need bakers! Please bring your baked goods (pies, breads,
cakes & cookies!) to Epsom Central School on the morning of the
Election or drop off to the library on Monday. We apreciate
your support! Don’t forget to vote! This is a big
election year! And after doing your civic duty celebrate by
purchasing a baked good treat! Your support to the
Friends of the Library helps us fund passes to some great NH venues,
such as Strawberry Banke, the McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center,
SEE Science Center and the Exeter Independence Museum! Just
stop by the library to reserve the pass! Friends of the
Library meets on the 3rd Monday of each month and welcomes new
members!

Letter To The Editor
To the editor,
At Pembroke Academy Library, October 27 at
6:00 pm there will be a public hearing to discuss the 2017/2018
budget for the SAU 53 school district. The towns of Allenstown,
Chichester, Deerfield, Epsom and Pembroke all are part of this
district. Each of these towns share the cost of the SAU. It is very
important to attend this meeting as it could affect your town’s
school property tax rates.
Ralph Weeks,
Epsom.
