Letter

Is there anyone who feels better off now than they were three years ago?

I didn’t think so. We are going into our fourth year with Obama and I don’t expect any changes.

Definition of stupidity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Or, electing the same professional politicians over and over and expecting different results.

We need to elect people who can create jobs, not people who are always campaigning for their own job. We need people who can spell "Balanced Budget" and who realize you can’t spend more money than you take in and fiscally survive. We have to stop those in Washington from destroying this country. Our only weapon is our votes. Please use them wisely.

The primary is January 10, 2012 and I think we have a dark horse in the race and that horse is Ron Paul. Please join me and put him in the winners circle.

Epsom Public Library News

"How I See It" is the current exhibit at the Epsom Public Library. The exhibit runs through January 23, 2012 and may be viewed during regular library hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm. For more information, call the library at 736-9920.

On view are eclectic examples of film and digital photography, including Tintypes and Polaroid Transfers. The collection of work is dated over the last five years.

Freelance Photography is Edith’s second career and artistic discipline since 1999. After spending more than twenty years as a cosmetologist, and eleven years as a salon owner, she realized that the time had come to transition her artistic abilities to a different medium. Photography it is.

For Edith, photography keeps the psyche sharp, the mind engaged, and the soul humble; giving many regular outlets for curiosity, study of detail, and natural examination of any environment. What keeps all this alive is the desire to tell visual stories that give emotional messages.

New Age Plaza Offers A Variety Of Experiences For The Shopper

After being open for two years and still hearing "I didn’t know what was here", we thought it was time for an update of all the exciting things happening at New Age Plaza on 1782 Dover Road.

Even though the summer markets are gone for the year, Nature’s Country Store stocks over 900 local products, which are available year round. Help us support our local community and businesses. Quite a few products in the store are from vendors that you have met at the farmers market. All from New Hampshire, we have meats, milk in glass bottles, eggs, seasonal produce, herbal products, honey, maple syrup, baking mixes, herbal seasonings, popcorn, granola, bulk grains and flours, candies, snacks, beverages, condiments, frozen treats, breads, pet food and supplies, candles, perfumes, soaps, books, baskets, cards and custom gift baskets. Organic, all-natural, gluten free, dairy free and vegan items too.

"Surprising selection", "reasonable pricing", "so glad to see the local companies being supported", "happy to have a store like this here" and "it’s great to see what is being done here with the old building, best of luck" are some of our customers comments.

A propane filling station was added last year. We fill by the gallon, so you only pay for what goes into your tank. Times are hard enough to not get what you pay for in this economy.

Rethink, reduce, reuse and recycle by checking out the Lofty Bargains area upstairs. It is a lot of fun with new and used items offered at bargain prices. A little something for everyone. Great ideas for your Christmas list, stocking stuffers or someone who likes antiques and collectibles.

Come join us for God’s word and love at prayer group or Sunday Church Services held by the Reese Family Ministries International.

As part of our health and wellness plaza, we offer Yoga taught by Cindy Falabella, Tai Chi taught by LuAnne Pigeon and a Licensed Massage Therapist joining us.

There is a function room, which is available for smaller groups. Stop in for more information on everything going on here or try some free samples in the store. Open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. To contact us call (603) 736-4004, email us at [email protected]. Look for the famous Wooden Trojan Horse. In progress is our new e-store, www.NaturesCountryStoreNH.com. Like us on Facebook too.
