Acts Of Kindness

I want to say that people do reach out to help. My roof was reroofed this past fall by a nice carpenter and his men. After the storms it was  in bad need of clearing of ice and snow. I called over to Mahachik Builders. Dave sent over two men to do the clearing of the roof. They did a GREAT job all out of the kindness of their hearts.

Thank you, Dave and your crew, for being so thoughtful.

What Part Of “We’re Not  Interested“ Don’t You All Understand?

I’m referencing the Feb. 11, 2009, part two meeting held before the Epsom Planning Board. The purpose was to resume discussions about a proposed 42-unit cluster housing development by someone who lives in a jungle known as Nashua. Ask him/her why he/she can’t get the go ahead for that project in his/her city. Epsom residents clearly voiced a unanimous voice in their objection to this project. Most of you don’t know the proposed construction site would be right in the middle of (my words) a minefield. Do a drive by, from either end.

On Aug. 22, 2005 this Goboro Rd. resident filed a complaint accompanied by a 24 name written petition with Wayne Preve, Chief Epsom, Police Dept. This same complaint was filed with Representative Joanne Randall under the date of May 29, 2007. Chief Preve, mentioned he was already spending extra time cruising this area (locations of complaints), which appears to be acceptable to most of the residents. I guarantee if this project goes through, complaints will more than double, motor vehicle accidents will increase and there may even be a need for a satellite police station. Should any of you desire a copy of the aforementioned petition, and letters, kindly send your request in a self addressed, stamped envelope to: Jim Breagy 244 Goboro Road, Epsom, NH 03234.
