Kathy Tilton of Pembroke has been named to the Dean's List for the
2008 spring semester at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.
Tilton is one of the 367 students honor for
outstanding academic achievements by being named to the Dean's List,
students must have a grade point average of 3.33 or above.
The Epsom Town Band To Perform
The Epsom Town Band will perform their second
band concert on Friday, July 18th, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. It will be
held at Webster Park, two miles south of the Epsom Traffic Circle.

State Reps Report
Last month the District 8 (Allenstown, Epsom,
Pittsfield) State Representatives celebrated the conclusion of the
2008 session of the General Court. They shared their experiences
with constituents and reported on legislative accomplishments in
education, the state retirement system, transportation and
infrastructure, and more.

Epsom Old Home Day
Epsom's Old Home Day is coming up fast. This
year's Epsom Old Home Day is the 8, 9, and 10th of Aug.
"Epsom Goes Green," recycling is the theme for
this year. Natalie Shaw, Miss N.H., will be the Grand Martial of our
parade. The committee is also accepting nominations for our "Citizen
of the Year." Send a short essay about your nominee by July 25th,

Epsom Public Library
Ivy Green Rebekah Lodge #36 will be having a
dance on Saturday, July 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Odd
Fellows Hall on Short Falls Road. Plan to come and join the fun! For

The Epsom Public Library Summer Reading Program
continues on Wednesday, July 16 with a "Great Barrier Reef Party"
from 2-4 p.m., followed by Night Time Story Time with guest
storyteller, "Miss Margot" at 6:30 p.m. Wear your pajamas and bring
your favorite stuffed animal.
A special program titled "Wings of the Night" by
the New Hampshire Audubon Society will be presented Monday, July 21st
at 7 p.m. in the library's large meeting room. This program is for
everyone and features NH wildlife! Plan to arrive early for good
