Our next meeting will be SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16 at 1:30pm, before our
special program, THE LOST ART OF MAKING SHOES. Please join the Epsom
Historical Association’s presentation by Bruce Graham. Bruce is a
local craftsman who has revived the once common art of making shoes.
He will demonstrate the process step by step including materials,
tools, shaping, styles and many other aspects of the trade. Bruce’s
presentation is interesting and entertaining and contrasts the
creativity of the past with the mass production of today. The
program will be held 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the Old Epsom Town Hall on
Rte. 4, Epsom. See you all there!

Public Library News
During the holiday season, the Epsom Public Library will be having
their “Food for Fines” program. Patrons who have fines for late
materials may bring donations of non-perishable food items and have
their fines reduced or eliminated. This is a great way to help the
Epsom food pantry! You do not have to have fines to participate. All
donations will be greatly appreciated. Donations will be accepted at
the library beginning November 19th thru January 1st. Library hours
are Monday-Thursday 10-7, and Saturdays 9-1. If you have questions
call 736-9920.
Story Time continues on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. and Thursdays at 3:30
p.m. The children listen to stories, sing songs and do arts and
crafts. Toddler Time is on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for toddlers and
their caregivers. For questions about these programs call the
library.
