We’re making valentines

Materials are available at the library. This is just a small
way to remember our veterans.
Thanks to Elizabeth
Marston for sharing her talent and leading the class on Wednesday in
handcrafted valentines.
There will be new art
work displayed during the month of February. The works of our
budding artists from the Chichester Central School will be gracing
the walls of the library. Our thanks to the school and the
young artists. Come on by and enjoy their endeavors.

Random Acts of Kindness
Day is February 17th. Some celebrate it as a whole week, while
others try to observe it every day. The library is trying to
spread the word and celebrate it for the week of February 17th-23rd.
Think of something nice to do, particularly for someone else.
Examples of random acts of kindness can even be found on the
internet. Remember, kindness almost always begets kindness!
Unless otherwise noted,
the hours of the library are: Monday and Wednesday, 2:30 -
8:30; Tuesday and Thursday, 10-1:30; Friday, 1:30-4:30; and Saturday
9-12.
The library follows the
lead of the Chichester Central School on school closings or delays.
For updates, visit us on FaceBook and “Like” our page; or, check
with WMUR announcements/banners on closings or delays.
Letter
Dear Chichester
Residents,
I am announcing my
candidacy for the Board of Selectmen in the March 12 election and
look for your support. I’ve been a resident of Chichester for a
short time but I’ve been in town doing volunteer work for almost ten
years. I am running for Selectmen because I am passionate about
keeping Chichester a great place to live and continue to become even
better.
I want to ensure that
everyone’s voice is heard, from our senior citizens to our children,
from retirees to those just finding a home, and from people of all
backgrounds and abilities. I had the pleasure to meet more and more
residents this past year at different meetings and gatherings, and I
am excited to meet even more people this coming year.
I have been a member of
the planning board for the last past year and learnt a lot about the
town. I spent half the year as an alternate member and participated
in every meeting until I was appointed to a full member this past
year. I also served on the town Advisory Budget Committee this past
year until being appointed as interim Selectmen in November 2018.
I feel this past year has
been a great experience working with the different boards and the
members and understanding the policies of the town. Since
being a Selectmen the last few months, it has given me a broader
view of the town and the operation and responsibilities for that
position.
I have moved my business
here to Chichester as well, and love being part of the community. If
you are interested in learning more, please reach out and contact me
with any question. I promise to continue to work hard to earn your
vote on March 12
Respectfully,
Richard Bouchard
