Chichester Town Library
News
The Knitting Group meets at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at the
library. Come join these talented people and learn to knit or
crochet.
Tomorrow morning at 10:30 is the Pre-school/Kindergarten
Story and Craft Hour. It is a wonderful way to stimulate the
young ones. The Down Cellar Poets will be meeting on Monday,
April 3, at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, April 4th, is Toddler Time, a program
for babies and children under the age of 3. It will meet at
10:30 a.m.

Don’t get discouraged if the library doesn’t have the book or
audiobook you’re looking for. Why? Because the
Chichester Town Library has been participating with the New
Hampshire State Library and more than 200 other public libraries to
form the NH Downloadable Books Consortium. The Consortium is a
service that provides a digital collection of fiction and nonfiction
eBooks, as well as audiobooks. The selection of more than
9,000 eBook titles and 7,000 audiobooks have been selected based on
patron demand, popularity, availability and cost. Just go to

Obituaries
Gregory A. Houston
CHICHESTER- Gregory A. Houston, 55, of Chichester, NH passed away at
his home on March 14, 2017. He was born on November 20th, 1961 in
Concord, NH to Richard and Marian (Brown) Houston.
Greg attended
Merrimack Valley High School. He worked at Concord Litho Group for
over 34 years.
Greg enjoyed being outdoors, and was an avid
hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed watching his beloved New
England Patriots. Above all else Greg loved spending time with his
precious grandchildren.
Greg was predeceased by his parents,
Richard and Marian (Brown) Houston; and his step-brother Michael
Rayno.
Members of his family include his wife Monetta (Sutton)
Houston; his brother Darrell Houston and wife Diane of Boscawen,
sister Laurie Houston and partner Jeff Kline of Corvallis, OR,
stepsister Paula Schein of Penacook, step-mother Lily Houston of
Penacook, and mother in law Carolyn Sutton of Concord; daughter
Jessica Ouelette and boyfriend Derek McMahon of Concord,
stepdaughters, Chelsea Lambert and her husband Jason of Chichester
and Emily Bemis and her husband Daniel of Center Barnstead;
grandchildren, Kaiden, Alexis, Kacie and Michael; many nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and several close friends.
A
funeral service was held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bennett Funeral
Home followed by a committal service at Pine Grove Cemetery in
Concord.
