The.NH Department of
Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles is pleased to announce that a new
computer system (VISION) will be implemented in the month of
February. As a result, there will be an interruption of motor
vehicle registration processing statewide. Town/City Clerk’s
offices, along with the OMV offices, will be unable to process new
or renewal registrations over the President’s Day holiday weekend,
beginning Friday, February 17, 2017, and will be resuming
transactions on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Throughout this
process, the Town/City Clerk’s office may be open for other
transactions not related to vehicle registrations during their
normal, scheduled hours of operation. Please check with your local
municipality for their specific hours during this time.
The CYA
Baseball/Softball registration deadline is March 5th. Forms were
sent home with children in grades K-6. They can also be found
online at www.chichesteryouth.com.
Registrations will be accepted from March 6th - 12th with a $10.00

Letter
Dear Chichester
Residents,
My name is Edward
Millette and my name will be on the ballot March 14, 2017 for the
position of Chichester Selectman.
After a vacancy was
created by Richard DeBold, I was appointed and given the privilege
of serving Chichester as a member of the Board of Selectmen.
Although it has only been a few short months, I have found the
position to be interesting and very rewarding. With that being
said, I would like to continue to serve on The Board and am asking
for your vote. I am a lifelong Chichester resident. I attended
Chichester Central School, Pembroke Academy, and Plymouth State
College where I earned a BS in Business Management. After finishing
college I built a house on Horse Corner Road to raise my own family.
My wife and I own and operate a family owned business that is based
in Rochester NH, that I am proud to say has been in business for
over 52 years.
Giving back and
volunteering in our community continues to be an important part of
my life. I have been a member of the Advisory Budget Committee for
that past 7 years, previously served on the Old Home Day Committee
for 5 years, and have been a member of the Chichester Fire/Rescue
Department for over 19 years. Working with these organizations has
allowed me to meet and get to know many of the great people that
live in Chichester. As a member of the Board, I will continue to
get to know as many residents as possible, listen to your ideas,
attend events and meetings throughout our town, and work together to
continue to make Chichester a great community to live in and be
proud of.
Thank-you for your
consideration, and your vote on March 14th.
Respectfully,
Edward Millette
