Start of a new month with a influx of new boys’ things.  My grandsons grew again, so we have:  Sizes 8-10-12 Pajama bottoms and pj sets; uw; long sleeve shirts; 1 pair husky jeans; 1 pair running pants.

We will be switching over from Halloween to Thanksgiving merchandise-especially tablecloths and some serving pieces of older china that will be great for the special occasion.  Winter jackets are out as well as hats, scarves and gloves and mittens.

Chichester Town Library News

The Knitting Group meets this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.  Bring your project and enjoy the camaraderie of this group.

Tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. is the Pre-School Story and Craft Hour.  This group has experienced large growth recently, because it is so well-planned and carried out.  Kudos to Barbara Pappas, in particular, who leads this program.

Monday, November 6th at 7 p.m. is the monthly meeting of the Down Cellar Poets’ Workshop for adult writers.  This group is facilitated by Jimmy Pappas and provides a great environment for aspiring poets to share their endeavors.

The Evening Book Club is meeting next Wednesday, November 8th, at 7 p.m., when they will be discussing Collapse:  How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed by Jared Diamond.  Please feel free to come as a new participant.  A fiction book should be the selection for the next month.

You’ll have to hurry to place your order for the “Looking at Chichester Past and Present” calendar that the Photography Club has compiled.  The deadline is November 4th.  This calendar is a spectacular set of photographs for all who live and love Chichester.  It will sell for $20, with the proceeds to be donated to the Chichester Food Pantry.  You can sign up for your copy at the library.
