Strategic Planning
As alluded to in a lead-in article last week, the Library Trustees
and staff are embarking on a ten-year strategic plan. Your help is
needed! To adequately plan for the future, residents are asked to
fill out a survey about the Library. Results from the survey will
be used to map the Library’s direction in the years ahead. We want
to know what services are important to you and your family; how you
rate the Library services that are now offered; and, what you would
like to see your library provide in future years.
The
survey is included in today’s Suncook Valley Sun and is also
available via
www.chichesternh.org and then clicking on the library link.
Completed surveys can be returned via mail or dropped off at the
Library, town office or Chichester Central School, as well as via
the web. A special “drop box” will be provided at the sites listed
above.
If you would like to be a part of a discussion/planning group about
the future of the Library, please indicate this by providing your
name and contact information on the survey, or by contacting
Librarian Lisa Prizio at 798-5613. Remember, it is your library!
Chichester Town Library News
There is a survey included in today’s Suncook Valley Sun edition for
Chichester residents. There is a separate article in today’s paper
to continue to explain the strategic planning process for the
Library and the need for residents’ input. Please participate.
Thursday, May 7th at 10:30 a.m. is the story, music and crafts for
preschoolers. This hour-long program even includes a snack, so make
sure you come to enjoy some time with your young ones.
The Library Trustees will meet on Monday, May 11th at 3 p.m. The
public is welcome.
The combined Plant/Book Sale is happening on May 16th this year, to
help ensure easier planting for all. This special sale has helped
many residents to beautify their yards and gardens while also
helping out the Library. Thanks are extended to Millican Nurseries,
as they have supported this sale for a number of years. Their
generosity is certainly appreciated.
