Check out the Lego building 3 young boys made for the library during
school vacation. We will be having other days to build Lego
structures to display around the library.
You may be interested to know the library has a great collection of
young adult fiction of DC Comics such as the Green Lantern, Justice
Society of America-The Lightning Sage & Axis of Evil; & Batman: The
Dark Knight Returns plus several more. Instead of buying the book
for $12.00 and up, use your library card and read for free!
For the younger set, there are many books for sale downstairs for
$.25 each and you don’t have to worry about returning them.
Please visit and if you have a program that you would like to see at
the library, let the librarian know and we’ll see what we can
schedule for 2014. Also it’s a great location to drop off goods for
the local food pantry. Mon. & Wed. 2:30-8:30; Tues. & Thurs.

With this cold weather upon us, the Cold Weather Shelter in Concord
is in dire need of some items. Men’s warm boots 9-11, socks, &
small area rugs (4x6) to cover the vinyl tile they sleep on. If you
have such items to donate, please put a note that they are for “The
Shelter” and one of our volunteers will deliver them.
If you purchased a handbag that had a camera in it (by mistake)
please return it to the Attic and we will call the owner.
Christmas items have been put away & we have room for any new
additions you may want to donate; nice cold snowy days will give you
time & opportunity to clear out items you no longer use. Come see
us at 345 Suncook Valley Hgwy, Chichester Mon. 8-12; Tues & Thurs.
8-4; Wed. 11-4; & Sat. 10-4. If the weather is questionable, call
247-7191 to make sure we are able to be open.
